INITIAL STAGES The initial visit to look at the garden and discuss the client's wishes is provided free of charge, except for travel expenses. Quotations All quotations are valid for six months.
SURVEYING FEES The price quoted for surveying is inclusive. However, for certain projects it may be necessary to conduct further more detailed surveys which would be costed when appropriate.
DESIGN FEES Initial sketch ideas The price quoted for initial sketch ideas does include a meeting to present the ideas, but disbursements and travel are added. Further feedback from the client is usually done by telephone and no charge is made. If additional meetings are required these will be charged at an hourly rate, agreed before hand. Full Colour Concept plan Materials, copying costs and travel will be added to the cost. Any alterations not previously discussed will be carried out at an hourly rate.
CONSTRUCTION Construction Plan The price quoted for construction plans does not include disbursements and travel. Any amendments or additions to the construction plan will be carried out an hourly rate. Builders Quotations and Liaison The builders costs and work standards are the sole responsibility of the client. Front Door Flora does not employ builders on the client's behalf. In certain circumstances and for an agreed hourly rate, Front door Flora will arrange for builders' quotations and meet with a client's builder to discuss construction plans. Front door Flora will undertake, for an agreed fee, site visits. If required, Front Door Flora will make supervisory visits during garden construction in order that the design is carried out as successfully as possible. Specialist Building Materials For an agreed hourly rate Front Door Flora will quantify materials from the construction plan, source samples and prepare orders. However, payment for specialist construction materials is made by the client directly to the supplier.
PLANTING Planting Plans The price quoted for a planting plan is inclusive of a scale plan, indicating planting positions and schedule of quantities to facilitate easy ordering of plants. All plants supplied by Front Door Flora are sold without guarantee, although every effort is made to supply plants in peak condition. The sourcing and supply of certain specialist plants may be subject to an additional charge. Once a quotation for supplying plants has been confirmed the plants are then considered sold. Planting In certain circumstances Front door Flora is able to arrange the planting of client's gardens at an agreed hourly rate.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES AND VISITS A comprehensive maintenance schedule, designed as calendar check list can be prepared for an agreed fee. It may be possible to organise for maintenance to be carried out.
QUOTATIONS All quotations are valid for six months.
SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS All monies are due on receipt of invoices and for large projects interim payments will be required.
